Emma Dahlström

Hi!

My name is Emma, I'm 18 years old and I come from a little village in the west
of Sweden called Torsby. I'm a professional newschool skier and have been for a
coupel of years now.

I have been skiing since I could walk, because my dad was a ski school teacher
so it was natural for me to slip my way into skiing. When I was small my
favorite thing was to ski as fast as I possibly could down the slopes. It was
not so popular among my parents but I loved it! It wasn't until I became 14
years old I begun hanging around in the park, and after I had tried it out, I
was stuck!

Now I'm going at my third and final year at the Freeride high school in Malung,
Sweden. At the school we have the opportunity to ski three days a week the
whole winter in the adward winnig "best park in Sweden", Kläppen Snowpark. When
is not winter, we do a lot of training as a preventive measure so we'll not get
hurt during the season. So this school has been my dream school and helped
progressing my riding a lot!

This season 2010/11 my goal is to compete a lot in Scandinavia, Europe and
America and make so good results as possible. But the main thing for me when I
ski is still to have fun and to progress my riding as far as I can. This season
my main goal is to progress my switch riding and to see new places around the
world.

My last greeting to you is to dare to do the things you are a little afraid of
in the moment. Because if you don't, you'll regret it in the future!

Have fun, ride safe
Best regards
